Da’ Creole Krewe BBQ Cookoff | NRG Park

Seems like Da’ Creole Krewe’s tent during the BBQ Cookoff at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo keeps getting bigger and bigger.  We’ve setup our studio booth there the past 2 years… this will make it 3 years!

I personally haven’t seen some of the other BBQ tents, but I can tell you this… Da’ Creole Krewe are a diverse bunch.  The front of their tent showcases their name and gives the feel of a country bar.  The DCK peeps are down-to-earth, fun and very welcoming.  They certainly make it feel like home…  The live Zydeco music just makes you want to dance… the DJ was awesome, playing the right songs at the right time and keeping the dance packed.

My hats off to Da’ Creole Krewe and all the BBQ tents because it must take a lot of coordination to setup tents that hold 100-700+ people.  Can you imagine how much food and drinks are needed to keep this going for 3-4 full days?!  Amazing and what dedication…
